Between light and darkness, Amersfoort born and based choreographer Gerard Mosterd is searching with the help of two virtuoso modern dancers, one eastern and one western, the gamelan musician Niels Walen plus composer Paul Goodman for his original motives and passion for the art of movement.
This contemporary dance performance takes place on the edge of two cultures whose contrasts often lead to incomprehension, tensions and even the unattainable. When action is taken and one takes time to listen, a dialogue can be initiated and a real meeting can take place because one “hears” each other.
